Word 2007 Blog Posts are way to verbose

I have been using Word 2007 (Beta2TR) to create my blog posts, however I am finding the verbose HTML produced tends to leave it badly formatted and needed me to edit the raw HTML via the blogger UI.
Time to investigate a new blog posting tool! Any suggestion greatly received.
