After another painful laptop failure I found a quick way to recover the feeds I had taken months collecting.

The feeds are located in the directory

C:Documents and SettingsAndrewLocal SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftFeeds

and can be simply copied into the required location. It retains the read/unread status.
