Dialog with Microsoft on Accessibility
Microsoft have recognised that we all need to answer questions on Accessibility; and it has never been easy to get answers to questions – or even know where to post them.
Lawrence has posted an article to introduce the new SharePoint – Accessibility online forum and also noted that they have not posted anything more than the Improvements in Accessibility link from last year, something that I have taken further in my posting SharePoint Accessibility – is MOSS Accessible.
He also mentioned some new tools that are available that may make things easier.
With HiSoftware’s announcement last week of AccRepair for SharePoint Designer and in conjunction with AccMonitor, many customers will be able to design and
implement accessibility compliant SharePoint based websites without costly
consulting services or development resources.
Start posting your questions in the hope that Microsoft, the ISVs and the community can start solving the problems.
