Great post on the code, you have capture the real problem with SLK Course Manager and the reason I have recommended that this functionality should not be adopted. It was very disappointing when this was released with all the promises made around SLK.

I hope with your new role as co-ordinator of the project on Codeplex that this project can come back on track and start to delivery some real value.
