Andrew Woodward

Andrew Woodward has always worked in an IT related position with virtually all of that time in a development environment. He started his career in 1994 at Pierce Management Services as a developer and was promoted within 12 months to Software Manager managing the development and support operations, operated to ISO9001 accredited standards. In 1999 he took a role within the QA department at Marlborough Stirling and worked with all development teams on process improvement, introducing automated load testing tools across the company.

Having missed the dotcom bubble he setup as an independent consultant working as lead developer on the b2b portal, Pub-serve.com (later purchased by BarBox), developed in ASP/VB using Oracle, SQL Server and BizTalk. This was followed by a role as Technical Lead at Waterford Wedgwood where he worked on a range of projects including re-engineering the global supply chain with .Net technologies using eXtreme Programming development methodology.

Taking on the role of Technical Director at BxSL in 2003 he changed the focus of the company to work with the emerging Microsoft technologies and founded a specialist SharePoint practice working with Microsoft and a number of Gold Certified Partners on a range of high profile projects.
