21apps.com
Welcome to 21apps.com where we bring you white papers, blog posts and general discussions around being Agile with SharePoint.
Agile SharePoint Development
We are passionate about agile development, covering every aspect from introducing agile management techniques like Scrum to the technical challenges of unit testing and developer adoption. Coupled with our almost exclusive work with SharePoint we are helping to solve these issues and will be making this available for discussion, review and criticism – all feedback is good feedback.
We will continue to post to our blog tips and tricks, interesting articles and just things that we think are relevant as well as more detailed content that can be refined and updated as our experiences and practices evolve. Andrew Woodward started the ball rolling presenting An Introduction to Agile SharePoint Development at the SUGUK 2008 Big Event in June where he talked about the use of Scrum as a agile management technique that is gaining rapid adoption as a way to manage agile development teams and how companies are using a hybrid of Scrum and XP.
21SCRUM – Scrum for SharePoint
We always felt that SharePoint was an ideal platform for collaborating on your agile development work. We tried using the out of the box functionality but it always fell just a little short of what we needed – so we decided to do something about it. We created 21SCRUM as a Sandboxed solution to work with SharePoint 2010.
You can download a fully featured trial version of 21SCRUM from www.21SCRUM.com
SharePoint Retreat
21apps are proud to be sponsors of SharePoint Retreat. Andrew Woodward and James Fisk came up with the concept of SharePoint Retreat after based on similar events in the wider developer community. The first event was held in London on July 10th and was a fantastic success.
